Fourplay Journey
July 28th, 2007Fourplay, the richly talented Smooth Jazz group released their latest album titled Journey and Wow! It’s 
really a good one.
Journey will grab your attention right out of the gate with Fields Of Gold and won’t let go until the very last note of the very last song 147 4th St, which is another great track by the way.
Journey has a pleasantly varied, mix of 10 tracks that are very well written songs by this clearly talented group.
One of the nicer things about a CD like this is with this level of talent even if Smooth Jazz isn’t your favorite genre you still can’t help but appreciate the greatness of the artist.
Overall Journey is a solid release. Quite possibly Fourplay’s best to date. Really sensational from beginning to end. If you’re even mildly into Smooth Jazz music you’ll enjoy this CD.
My SmoothLee Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore […as in “Stuck On REpeat”] is track 2, Play Around It. Outstanding!
